Experts in mycology will show you dozens of species of edible, inedible and poisonous mushrooms of Russia in the form of visual models and fresh samples. You will learn to identify the main trophies: white mushrooms (boroviki), birch mushrooms, chanterelles, russula mushrooms and, with extreme caution, the deadly pale toadstool.

Mixed forests of the Ladoga region. This is a more challenging and, consequently, more "productive" route. Here, in forests dominated by birches and ashes, you will find abundant clusters of birch and aspen mushrooms. This is a true classic of Russian mushroom hunting.
Specific features: The forest is denser, and the soil may be wetter. Careful attention is required during harvesting. This is an ideal place to practice the skills acquired during the master class.

The pine forests of the Karelian Isthmus. An ideal place to start your "quiet hunt". Bright, spacious pine forests with sandy soil are a realm of noble white mushrooms and chanterelles. The air, filled with pine needles, and the proximity of the Gulf of Finland create a unique health-promoting atmosphere.
Specificity: The forests are easily accessible. There is a low probability of encountering poisonous species, making it a safe location for beginners. Season: from late July to September.
